[CPR] Announcing Scholarships to Attend the Super-Regional

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED TO ATTEND THE PUBLIC RADIO
SUPER-REGIONAL MEETING IN ATLANTA

The Public Radio Regional Organizations (PRRO) group is offering seven
$1,000 scholarships for eligible public radio station leaders, managers,
and staff to attend the 2018 Super-Regional Meeting that will take place
Wednesday – Friday, October 24 – 26 at the JW Marriott Buckhead in
Atlanta. Find

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS: PRRO scholarships are intended to provide a partial
or full subsidy to cover transportation, lodging, meals and registration.
Scholarships will reimburse up to $1,000 in actual expenses, including
registration set at $250.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of
financial need. Women and persons of color are especially encouraged to
apply. Applications are also being solicited from a 2nd station person for
stations experiencing financial hardship.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: Submit an application via this link:

would not be possible without such a scholarship and (2) how you and your
station expect to benefit from participation at this conference

DEADLINE: Close of business day on Thursday, October 11.

A Scholarship Committee will review all applications and select awardees
based on merit and suitability. Awardees will be notified by email no
later than Monday, October 15. PRRO reserves the right not to award the
scholarships, if the nature of the applications or nominations does not
justify the awards.

These seven (7) scholarships are made possible by the generous support of
the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
